Why we’re launching Solo Connects Supporters Clubs

When we started Solo Connects back in November 2024, our dream was simple: get twenty single people down the pub once a month and maybe (just maybe) find ourselves a boyfriend along the way. What happened next blew us away.

In less than a year, Solo Connects has grown into a buzzing singles community across Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Northampton. We’ve hosted mixers, speed dating nights, themed discos, and even firewalking challenges. We’ve watched friendships blossom, romances spark, and hundreds of single people rediscover the joy of meeting face-to-face rather than endlessly swiping on apps.

But here’s the truth: building a movement like this is hard work – and it’s expensive. From hiring venues, to paying for insurance, to running marketing campaigns that help us reach more singles, every month brings fresh costs. And because we want Solo Connects to keep growing, we need a sustainable way to fund the mission.

That’s where our brand-new Supporters Clubs come in.

More than just events – a movement for Singles

Solo Connects has never just been about throwing parties. Yes, the discos are amazing, the mixers are fun, and speed dating is a laugh—but at the heart of what we do is community.

We’ve created three different ways to get behind Solo Connects. Whether you want to dip your toe in, join online, or go all-in with in-person events, there’s an option that fits.

1. Solo Connects Supporter – £4/month

Think of this as your way to “pay it forward.” For just £4 a month, you’ll be helping us keep the lights on, the events running, and the Facebook community alive.

As a Supporter, you’ll:

• Stay in our Solo Connects Singles Community Facebook Group.

• Know that your contribution is funding real-life, high-quality events that change lives.

• Help us reach more singles across the UK who need connetion, not another dating app.

It’s also the perfect option if you’re no longer single but want to support others on the journey.

2. Together Online – £7/month

Want to connect but can’t always get out to events? This tier is for you. You’ll get everything in the Supporter package PLUS access to two monthly online events.

That includes:

• Free online Meet & Mingle – where you can connect with singles in your area and age group for casual, no-pressure chats.

• Free Therapy Talk – hosted by Janet and Paul, who bring insights, advice, and encouragement to help you navigate single life.

Together Online isn’t just convenient - it’s powerful. It shows singles they aren’t alone, no matter where they live.

3. Full Membership – £15/month (Most Popular)

This is the ultimate Solo Connects experience. By becoming a Member, you’re not just supporting the movement - you’re diving right in.

Membership perks include:

• An exclusive invite to our monthly Members Lounge (think band nights, karaoke, and casual drinks).

• Guaranteed tickets to our hottest events—even when they sell out to the public.

• Discounts on selected event tickets (£3 off mixers and £5 off discos).

• Free entry to our online events (Meet & Mingle + Therapy Talk).
