Hi I'm Grace, I'm 23, Self Employed as a Virtual Assistant and avid Public Speaker. I've been a Milton Keynes girl my whole life and (despite the backlash it gets online) I absolutely LOVE living here. I joined the Solo Connects family in 2025 to help the in person dating scene reach a younger audience.

Like many people my age I’ve tried (and failed) with dating apps over the last couple of years and I know I'm not alone...

Time and time again I hear my friends moan about how much time (and money) they spend on dating apps that just don't seem to foster real human connection. In a January 2024 letter to shareholders, Match Group Inc (who owns Tinder and Hinge) acknowledged that more younger people are seeking "a lower pressure, more authentic way to find connections".*

In 2024 I attended a singles open bar event in London which is a vastly growing event type for single people in major cities like Manchester and Liverpool. I was absolutely terrified at first when I walked through the bar doors in Soho but was greeted with kindness from hosts similar to my age, a vibrant bar interior and an onsite DJ. I really enjoyed the experience of getting to know people without the awkward messages beforehand, whilst I was skeptical at first I actually had fun!

Whilst I didn't meet the love of my life I know that these types of events are ways to make real connections and get to know a person outside of a profile.

I am so excited to share that on Wednesday the 19th September 2025 I will be hosting my first 25s to 35s Dating Event with Unity Sky Lounge MK.
